Local Games Veterans Announce New XR Collective, Violet Crown Interactive

Co-Creators of “Star Wars: Hunters” Bring Global Perspective Back Home to Austin, TX.

Founded by Matthew Hemby, Will Wallace, and Maitland Lederer, Violet Crown brings more than 50 years of games development to new realities. Our mission is to apply our expertise in interactive narrative, digital communities, and product design towards new types of play made possible through XR technologies.

As a remote-first startup built around commitment to and curiosity for our community, we’re taking local creators and local stories to a global audience in ways both unexpected and impactful. As collaborators, we emphasize honesty, inclusiveness, and wellness, and are supported with equitable compensation, personalized mentorship and development, and a commitment to represent a diversity of voices.
